ADMISSIONS SPOTLIGHT
Leading Self, Leading Others: ?A Powerful Day of Leadership in Action
Saint Dominic Academy, in partnership with Saint Peter’s Prep, recently hosted its annual Leading Self, Leading Others leadership workshop welcoming over 80 students from Hudson, Bergen, and Essex counties for a dynamic and inspiring experience. Designed for 6th and 7th grade students, the event focused on mentorship, confidence-building, and personal growth.
Facilitated by Brenda Jimenez P ’26, the day set an engaging and meaningful tone from the start. SDA scholar-leaders took on the role of mentors, guiding younger students through interactive activities while modeling leadership, connection, and self-awareness.
The event offered a full-circle moment, as our students not only demonstrated the skills they’ve developed at SDA but also empowered the next generation of leaders.
A special thank you to Keira Barth ’26, who represented SDA as a keynote speaker alongside Henry Bastable SPP ’27, for inspiring with their voices and leadership.
